Lodge Policy
CLEANING
It is the responsibility of the PGI member clean the lodge before leaving (since there is no longer a cleaning crew). Please leave the lodge in as good condition as when you found it.
Scheduling
Assumptions when scheduling:
When scheduling the lodge, it will include exclusive use of all things PGI, which may include camp sites, lodge, and property. If you do not want exclusive use, please relay that when booking you time.
There is no assumption that the swimming pool or pavilion on Richard Dulaney’s property will be available for the exclusive use of the PGI member.
To Schedule
The administrator will let members know when he can begin taking next year reservations. Members are asked to only reserve one weekend during the initial invite (between Memorial Day through Labor Day) to ensure other members can get a reservations. Any reservation requested during the week (Monday thru Thursday) or during non-summer weekends (remainder of the year) will be first come, first serve basis after the initial reservation period has been completed.
How it works – Initial Summer Month Weekend Request
The administrator (Michael Sherrill) will send a group email (usually early February) indicating owners may begin to request reservation for one weekend during the designated summer months. Generally the initial administrator will give 2 weeks for these reservations to be submitted.
The administrator will record these reservations from owners and determine if there is any conflict in scheduling.
If there is a conflict in scheduling, the initial administrator will:
inform all parties that scheduled the weekend
request the parties come to a resolution.
if a resolution has not been found after 2 days, the initial administrator will flip a coin to decide who will receive the weekend in question.
the initial administrator will notify all parties of the outcome.
the person who did not win the coin flip may reserve another weekend.
The administrator will update the website to reflect the weekends reserved.
After the website is updated, the initial administrator will send a notice to owners requesting they review the posting to ensure accuracy. The administrator may set a reasonable time frame for feedback.
ITEMS LEFT AT LODGE
Items such as food, paper products, drink items, etc left at the lodge can (and will) be used by any other person who may come afterward. There should be no presumption that items left at the lodge will be there upon returning. When arriving for a stay at the lodge, prepare to provide basics such as paper products.
